The Phillips Family

KT and Ev came to visit in October for what I am hoping will become an annual tradition for them. We did as much city exploring as we could in between cold, cold, cold snowfalls and my car breaking down. We did manage to visit: the zoo with the McPheeters, Hammond’s Candy Factory, the Children’s Museum, and Harvey Park. When we couldn’t get outdoors, we did lots of cooking indoors. Our dear friend Erika came over to help us cook and eat- beet velvet cupcakes (with farm beets) and homemade cream cheese frosting- such goodness!
